Nobu coming to Paris Las Vegas
A second Nobu is coming to the Las Vegas Strip – inside Paris Las Vegas.
Plans for a Nobu restaurant in the Paris hotel and casino were revealed Tuesday, in a joint press release from Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality announcing new collaborations in three cities. In addition to launching a new Nobu restaurant in Paris Las Vegas (which is owned by Caesars), the two companies are also planning new Nobu Hotel experiences within Caesars Atlantic City and the Caesars-owned Harrah’s New Orleans, as well as “a refresh of the first Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.”

“We are excited to take this next step in our growing partnership with Caesars,” Nobu founders Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper are quoted as saying in the release.
When the new restaurant debuts in early 2022, it will be one of three Las Vegas Nobu restaurants – although it will be the fourth ever to open in our valley. The original Nobu Las Vegas was opened in the Hard Rock Hotel, and continues to operate within Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. When the Hard Rock shut its doors to allow for renovations for the new Virgin property, Caesars Entertainment briefly opened a Nobu within Bally’s Las Vegas to accommodate the displaced workers. Unfortunately, that restaurant shuttered during the initial COVID shutdown, and never reopened. Nobu did reopen within Virgin, however, after undergoing a facelift that created a larger bar, lounge area and dining room.
The world’s first Nobu Hotel was opened in Las Vegas in
2013, in a renovated Caesars Palace hotel tower. Among its highlights were an
exclusive room service menu, a massive ground-floor Nobu restaurant and the stunning
Nobu Villa on its rooftop. In October of 2018, DeNiro and Matsuhisa celebrated its
fifth anniversary, and announced a ten-year extension of the partnership. Today’s
announcement revealed “plans to begin a multimillion-dollar refresh of its
guest rooms and public areas, set to be complete by the end of 2021.” That
refresh will get underway next month.
Nobu Hotel Atlantic City is projected to open next summer. The
Nobu Hotel New Orleans, and its accompanying restaurant, are expected to follow
in 2024, within the Caesars New Orleans resort that will replace Harrah’s New
Orleans.
